Summary / Read source ↗

- The author says they installed and run Jellyfin, a video streaming program, Immich, a photo backup program that replaces Google Photos, and Vaultwarden, a password manager, on a single mini PC at home. - The author says they do not open the home server directly to the internet. Only the VPN server is reachable from outside through IPv6, and because public Wi-Fi rarely offers IPv6, the VPN often does not work there. - The hardware is a Beelink S12 Pro mini PC (Intel N100, memory 16GB, SSD 512GB). The author bought it last year for 180, and the same product is currently listed on Amazon for 359.

O: Someone who wants to manage family photos or passwords on a single home mini PC could choose just one of the two options, the Immich photo backup tool or Vaultwarden, and try it first with one or two family members. X: The author was concerned that Bitwarden might later end compatibility with Vaultwarden. Hardware prices are based on the time and conditions when the author bought the device, so they may not apply as they are.
