It would be good to start by testing sending a photo from your phone to your computer at home. Both devices need to be on the same network, so if your phone is using mobile data and your computer is connected to your home Wi-Fi, you need to sync their connections first. I'm curious whether the process, from the transfer time to finding the other device and opening the received photo, is actually less hassle than the method you usually use.
