Editorial opinion startupxo

It's not yet certain if this new chip will actually be used in the Steam Deck 2, considering that the codename Gainsborough was created by AMD, not Valve, and there is a precedent of past Steam Deck chips being designed for other devices before switching to dedicated use. Also, the fact that its size 25mm is bigger than the previous model makes me curious about how it will affect both performance and heat management. Since Valve has not confirmed launch plans, we'll need to watch closely to see how it connects with the actual product.
