- macOS's 'Full Disk Access' is a setting that allows apps to access all the information on the computer such as user files, mail, messages, and internet history. - Recently, concerns have risen about risks of permission abuse after Meta's Muse app was accused of reading private messages without user consent and security vulnerabilities were found in the ChatGPT Mac version. - Apple announced that it will introduce new controls requiring very explicit user actions for developers to obtain full disk access permissions in the future. - As AI agents gain stronger autonomous access to system functions, the associated risks of such permissions increase, so the goal is to ensure users grant permissions with full awareness.

It's noticeable that they intend to require very explicit user actions. Full Disk Access permission has always been a very sensitive area, but it seems problems arose as the AI agent automatically expanded its access scope. I'm curious how Apple will specifically confirm user consent through what kind of interfaces or procedures in the future, and how intuitive that process will be.
