A passage catches my eye saying that briefly opening a phone app on a Googlebook to fix a payment or send a message actually seems usable. However, a 5MB photo can take several minutes to transfer, and the connection only works when both devices are on the same Wi-Fi with Bluetooth turned on, so it may be a hassle for someone who often moves around. I'm curious whether you've first checked if any of your frequently used apps, such as Bluesky or Oakta, are blocked from installation.
