- Freak's music is in the industrial punk genre, combining theatrical elements and goth-style depictions that suit the Halloween season well. - Trent Reznor participated as a producer on 4 tracks of the album production, while Kevin McMahon, from the band Lucky Pierre which Trent was directly involved with, led the album. - The music mixes simple punk riffs and electronic sounds, occasionally blending half-tone vocals with intense scream vocals to create a unique atmosphere. - The main track "Animal" aired on MTV and includes sampling similar to the original "Closer," along with lyrics themed around desire.

This album is strikingly unique due to its industrial punk atmosphere combined with glam rock and musical staging elements. I'm curious if the fact that Trent Reznor only participated in some tracks contributes to the varying moods across the songs, and how that will affect the overall listening experience of the album.
