Summary / Read source ↗

- The LG MRGB95B is a 75-inch large TV that reviewers said stays easy to see in a bright daytime living room. It is priced at 3,600. - The reviewer measured peak brightness of 4,011 nits in HDR movie mode. Colors look vivid, but in the default settings without calibration the picture leans slightly blue, so white clouds look bluish and skin tones look cold. - The screen coating reflects light very strongly, so reflections are noticeable when a ceiling light or floor lamp is on. In dark scenes, light spreads around bright areas such as subtitles, a blooming effect that is worse than on other RGB TVs. - The same reviewer said the Sony Bravia 7 II, which is 1,300 cheaper for a 75-inch model, is better in color accuracy and reflection handling. They said the LG G6 OLED and Samsung S95H perform better for a difference of several hundred dollars, and the Verge score is 6 points.

It's said to be fine in a bright daytime living room, but the passage saying a rainbow-like reflection spreads when the evening lights come on catches my attention. Since it isn't in the spec sheet, it seems like something to check in person at a store. The comparison with the LG G6 OLED, a difference of a few hundred 3,600 dollars, also reads as a heavy point. That said, the measurement is based on default settings before calibration, so from the article alone it's unclear how much the blue tint decreases if you change the settings. I'm curious whether your living room has large windows and whether you tend to turn on a lot of lights in the evening.
